Matilda (aka Tilly, or Silly Tilly) is ready to find her forever home. Tilly was turned into animal control and soon discovered to be pregnant. AOA provided a foster home, where Tilly was safe to raise her puppies and learn house manners. Tilly would be best in a home with children, as she seems to open up to kids first and feel comforted by them. As wonderful as Tilly is with kids, she should go to a home without cats. Tilly is in a foster home with small children, large dogs, cats and chickens (separated from the cats and chickens). She gets along with dogs of all sizes, but wouldn't mind being an only dog. Tilly is uncomfortable on a leash and will need time to adjust to one before going for walks but will likely never be anyone's running partner. Matilda prefers snuggling on the couch or in bed, and enjoys squeaky toys. She is house trained to a dog door but would need some help learning to tell her new family to let her out if they don't have a dog door. Tilly raised her seven puppies in rescue and watched them find forever homes. Now it is her turn, are you her forever family? Matilda's adoption fee of $125.00 includes her microchip, spay, DHPP series and Rabies vaccine.
