Ben loves people and is very laid-back with strangers at adoption events, including kids who want to pet him. He likes to be in the same rooms as people and to give kisses, but he isn't clingy. He's a fast learner, and is in the process of learning "leave it," “touch’ and to "sit" rather than jump on visitors. He still has some puppy behaviors like chewing plastic items left on the floor and he can be dog selective, barking at some dogs he doesn’t know. We hope that obedience training and having a home that allows him to feel secure will help Ben develop more confidence with unknown dogs. 

Ben does well with the two dogs in his foster home. He's learned that tug-of-war is a great game, and runs after toys thrown for him. Playing fetch could be just around the corner. Ben is house-trained, sleeps through the night, and is not allowed on the furniture. He has a low-shed coat, a medium-high energy level, and he loves to ride in the car. Having reservations about Ben's curiosity with cats.(he doesn't live with any in his foster home.)
