Spencer is a cautious boy.  When he is in his foster home he is confident, loving, and displays typical puppy behaviors.  However, when he's introduced into a new environment he's very scared and will run from strangers.  He takes a few days to warm up to strangers, longer if they are men.  He LOVES dogs, and fetch.  A home with a confident dog and humans with a lot of patience is what Spencer is looking for.  He is not the puppy that is going to walk in and jump on your lap.  Any adopter will have to earn his trust.
 
A picture of his mom is included, dad is unknown.  We are guessing mom is a border collie/corgi mix based on appearance and size.  Mom is about 25 pounds.  We do not DNA test.

They will be amazing adults when grown, however, the adopters will be the one who will need to continue to train and encourage positive behaviour.  Puppies are wonderful, but they require time and effort on the pet parents behalf to become wonderful adults.  By adopting a puppy you are making a commitment for the life of the puppy, not just while the puppy is a chubby baby.  Please take this comitement as seriously as we do.

Spencer's adoption fee of $220.00 includes microchip, alter, (spay/neuter)  DHPP series and Rabies vaccine.
