Heimdall is an exceptional boy.  He is a great mix of lab and hound.  He knows sit, focus, is learning leash manners, and kennels nicely.  Heimdall is kenneled  when home alone because he has that lab stomach; no regrets eating your favorite sweater while bored.  Heimdall enjoys being around people and doing fun activities like exploring the desert, watching his humans fish, and playing.  Heimdall is good with other dogs, he is unaware of his size and will sit on little dogs.  He tries to get pushy at the food bowl so currently he eats supervised with a mom dog figure or in his kennel.  Heimdall is really good about treats and will sit nicely with the pack. He is curious about the cats but after a whack he keeps his curiosity a bit farther away from them.

His ideal family enjoys the outdoors, will take him camping and on other adventures.  He’s not a marathon runner but keeps up at a brisk pace.   He is not a good apartment dog unless the person is VERY active.  He is not a throw the ball a couple times and call it a day kind of dog and he is large, he also has that hound dog drool. Heimdall gravitates towards men and children, which is fine unless your a wife who wants to be his first choice.

Heimdall is such a fun dog, and is very smart. He is still very young and has a lot of learning to do. With the right home he is going to be an absolute rockstar of a dog.

We do not DNA test.  Based on appearance this litter looks like black lab mixed with hound.

An adoption fee of $225.00 includes microchip, alter (spay or neuter), DHPP series and Rabies vaccine.

Not included in the adoption fee is county license or microchip registration.

We always recommend training classes.

Puppy will need potty training as well as basic puppy training. We strongly recommend basic puppy training group classes as it helps build bonds between the adopter and puppy as well as sets boundaries and establishes good patterns for life time commitment.
