Abel is a spunky, loving sweetie pie just waiting to find his furever family!

He’s still just a pup so he has quite a good amount of puppy energy but knows when he needs to tone it down. He does well with other dogs that don’t mind having a rambunctious buddy to play around with all day. He loves sharing his toys with his human and puppy companions. If he wants to play, he’ll grab one of his little squeakers and bring them to you to toss around!

He’s doing much better on the leash with the help of a choke collar, and learning to walk nicely at your side. He still tugs, and gets excited with all kinds of new sights and smells but, he is a puppy and that’s what puppies do.

He’s a very playful and fun loving boy and would do well in a home with an active family with kids who can match his energy levels. He’s a big snuggle bug and after a good run and play around the yard he is perfectly content curling up next to you on the couch for a nap.

Abel is trained to stay in a crate when no one is home. He’s not a destructive boy, but left to his own devices, being a puppy he may get into a few things he’s not supposed to, and chew on things other than his chew toys. He will grow out of this with time and training as he is a smart kid.

Abel can “sit”, “stay”, and “come” with hand signals… And does it even better when you have a treat in your hand! He’s getting the hang of his potty training and has come very far. If he is let out enough during the day he will not go in the house, and when he is crated during the day, he will wait until you are home to let him do his business outside.

Abel is such a sweetheart of a boy and would be a loving, and loyal friend furever!
