This is a dog for people who believe that all activities in life are better with the company of a four legged companion. Coati will be the perfect tag along for all of your activities, be it walking, running, hiking, biking, exploring, agility, training, or traveling. Coati is a right-hand man kinda dude, who just wants to be part of your day-to-day life.
...
Coati is athletic, agile, and an absolute blast to play with. At under two years old, he still has a lot of puppy energy. That said, Coati learns his routine quickly and has no problem settling down in his crate when asked. He loves searching for a toy or chew to take into his crate before being put up.
Coati is very dog social, and will avoid altercations. He’s playful and interactive with nearly all dogs he meets. We would not recommend Coati to a home with small dogs or cats, but he’s learning to co-exist peaceably with them in his foster home.
Coati is great with children, is housetrained, and not destructive. Coati needs someone who can provide structure and exercise. Give that to him, and you’ll have one of the sweetest, quirky, and fun little guys around. He’s already started his training and is working towards his Canine Good Citizen certificate. He has very quickly learned sit, down, stay, and wait. He’s a polite walker on the leash, too. Coati can continue his training with Pit n’ Proud at no charge for up to four months after adoption. His foster family is also happy to provide any in-home training or coaching needed to help make his transition to a new family easy.
Coati's adoption fee of $125.00 includes his neuter, microchip, current Rabies and DHPP vaccinations. An additional fee of $11.00 will be collected at time of adoption for license transfer.
