Claire is a pretty blue pit mix with some white markings. She weighs around 45 pounds. We think she is approximately one year old. She still spends a lot of time chewing on toys and bones, as puppies do. She must have lived mostly outside in her previous place, but is learning the routine of going outside to do her business. Each day is a little better. She learns well from the other dogs.

She was rescued, along with two other dogs, after being abandoned in the backyard of an empty house. She lives with a foster family with an 11yo boy and lots of neighbor kids. She is learning not to jump up and loves to play ball or chase me with the kids. She is good with all the dogs she lives with from an 8# Chihuahua up to a pit mix a little larger than her. She is also friendly with both the cat and the Cockatiel. She is learning to walk on a leash.

Claire's adoption fee of $125.00 includes her spay, microchip, current DHPP and rabies vaccine.  An additional fee of $11.00 will be collected at time of adoption for license transfer.
