Lady is as sweet as they come! This lovely dog enjoys nothing more than being with her people. She is content to lie nearby on the floor. If you change rooms, there’s a good chance Lady will be a step behind you. She thrives on attention from people and loves to be petted and loved.

She still has moments of puppy exuberance, but overall a moderate energy level. She enjoys running around the yard, all the while squeaking one of her toys. She will happily join you for a run, but a decent walk and a game of fetch can also meet her energy needs.

 She is good with children (she quickly figured out that they will pet her and give her treats), but is still learning about smaller children.  She is learning that jumping on a person is not an appropriate greeting (especially for smaller children). She also jumps in the yard – anything under 6 feet is an easy leap height. Generally she just leaps to take a peep at the neighbors, but she isn’t left outside alone just in case she decides to do more than look.

Lady corrects easily and quickly learned sit, down, go to bed, and to heel while walking. She definitely has an instinctive prey drive and responds to birds and even lizards and tries to give chase even when on leash. While getting better at not mindlessly giving chase, this training will need to be continued. She was also a little too interested in chasing the cat in the foster home, so she has been kept separate from the cat. She does well with the other foster dogs.

This little Lady bonds quickly and will thrive in an environment where she can truly be part of a loving family.

Lady's adoption fee of $125.00 includes his neuter, microchip and current DHPP and Rabies vaccinations.  An additional fee of $11.00 will be collected at time of adoption for license transfer.
