Looking for a great first pet or one to add to your existing pet family? Then look no further! Robin is Sharpei/Heeler Mix and is about 40 pounds. Not too much is known of her background but she was rescued from PACC before being euthanized for an upper respiratory infection. In her foster home, she was a little unsure of herself, her foster parents, and furry foster siblings after coming from the kennel environment and while still being sick. However after a few days, she really came out of her shell! She loves to play with her foster siblings, who are both large breed dogs around her age. Its clear she came from a home as she will go to the door when she has to go out, instead of pottying in the house. She is easily corrected and knows her name well. Unlike most dogs, Robin is extremely well behaved in a crate. She sleeps in a large crate with a bed and never chews on the bed, doesn't have accidents, nor does she make a single noise inside the crate. She loves to nest so a crate with blankets or a bed is a definite plus! Robin is learning some tricks and is very treat motivated so the potential for growth and development is definitely there and easy to see! With Robin's short hair she hardly sheds and dries quickly after a bath! Do you like to go on walks or hikes? Well Robin does too! She walks very well on a leash and corrects easily if she starts to pull! Even on the steep, narrow mountain trails of Mt Lemmon she does well! Robin is also a very snuggly gal who loves to curl up next to you while you read or watch tv, but watch out, she is also a dog who snores! Being under 2 years old, Robin is still very much a puppy who loves chew toys of all kinds, so an assortment of toys would be beneficial for her! Once Robin has completed her meds and puts on some weight, she will get spayed and be available for adoption! Your search for an amazing dog is over, because Robin is just the dog for you! Robin's adoption fee of $125.00 includes her microchip, spay and current DHPP and Rabies vaccine. A $11.00 license transfer fee will also be collected at time of adoption.
