As sweet as Sherry is, she hasn’t seemed to have had the best of care in her previous life. She was brought into the animal shelter and listed as a stray. She was thin (40lbs) and had hair loss along her spine with some superficial open wounds. She was put in a kennel with other dogs and was fine with them and despite developing kennel cough; she remained friendly with her kennel mates and social with people.

Sherry’s fate did not look good at the shelter; she was given a very short timeline to be saved or would be put down. Thankfully, Arms of Angels came to her rescue and she has since been staying with a foster family who has other dogs and teens. Today, Sherry is well on the way to a better life! She has gained weight and her wounds are healed – all that Sherry needs now is a family and home of her own – perhaps you!

Her foster family describes her as being a truly sweet affectionate girl, although she has the “bounciness” and playfulness of a traditional Boxer, she is not overly energetic. She will greet you with a big bounce, twist and wiggle in typical Boxer style; her way of saying she loves you and thank you for loving her back! Sherry is a loving girl despite perhaps not having received much herself in the past. She responds affectionately to love and kindness and will nestle her head in your lap as you pet her. She loves to go for long walks and, as an inside dog – will enjoy keeping you company. Her beautiful amber eyes reflect the gentleness of this girl’s soul and her desire to belong. Sherry's adoption fee of $125.00 includes her microchip, spay and current DHPP and Rabies vaccine. A $11.00 license transfer fee will also be collected at time of adoption.
