This happy girl loves to be at your side and will follow you wherever you go... and once she has your attention, her tail never stops. Wilma was wandering the streets late last year, pregnant and alone. A good intentioned gentleman brought her into his yard see if he could find her owner, and when that failed, to raise her puppies in safety. A collaborative effort by several shelter volunteers came together to support her care. After weaning her puppies and getting spayed, Wilma was taken in by an AOA foster home so that she can learn how to be an indoor member of the family. She is barely more than a puppy herself, and while she is gentle with her play, she still needs correction to learn what is okay or not. She has become housebroken very quickly, and keeping a good schedule will be important to reinforce her training. Wilma's adoption fee of $125.00 includes her microchip, spay and current DHPP and Rabies vaccine. A $11.00 license transfer fee will also be collected at time of adoption.
