Coach is a uniquely handsome, 8 month old pup that our family has had the pleasure of getting to know over the last several months. We have learned that he is a cautious boy who can be unsure of new people and experiences. This makes it important to take it slow and give him time. With a little patience, a whole lot of love, and a tremendous amount of trust and consistency, Coach will blossom! Really, all he needs is a positive and safe opportunity to gain confidence.

Coach is a wonderful hiking, creek-splashing, and picnicking companion. He loves the outdoors, napping on the couch, and he takes great pleasure in hiding ALL of the dog-toys in his crate. Coach is fabulous with other dogs (large and small), is respectful of children, and pays no mind to the cat. He is mostly house-trained and has good leash manners (though he does startle easily on walks). Actually, he has very good manners in general! Coach does not chew, has not been destructive in our home, and he rarely barks.

Coach seems to be more comfortable with women than men, but he has the capacity to bond with anyone given the right opportunity and circumstance. To say that he is crate-trained is an understatement...Coach LOVES his crate! It is his "safe" place and he will retreat to it when overwhelmed or unsure. It will be important for Coach to have a crate when adopted, especially in the beginning. As he gets comfortable, he will use it less and less and will spend more and more time with you.

So, to summarize, Coach is an awesome and timid boy who has a lifetime of love and companionship to give to the right person who will take the time to give him time.

Coach's adoption fee of $150.00 includes their microchip, alter and current DHPP and Rabies vaccine.
