Delilah is a loving, adventurous, energetic puppy who may be the perfect size for a purse but she definitely doesn't want to be in one. Delilah is about 12 weeks old and came into rescue after being tossed out of a slow moving vehicle. Thankfully she was uninjured and is now ready to find a home to call her own. She spent the last month in a foster home with two young (ages 4 and 2) children, two large dogs and three cats. Delilah loves everyone, but prefers the children of all of the humans. She thinks she is a big dog, and loves to wrestle with the big dogs who are gentle with her and seem to find her endearing. Delilah is particularly fond of one of the cats, who she loves to play tag and wrestle with. She loves to run laps around the kitchen island and chew on anything she can get a hold of. She has a preference for stinky mens socks.

Delilah currently spends her unsupervised time in a puppy pen with a puppy pad that she joyfully shreds each day. When her foster family is home she runs around the house and shows signs (sniffing, circling) about every two hours of needing to go out. She will follow her foster mom to the door and go out to potty. However, if no one is watching she will pee or poop wherever she sees fit. Delilah will easily learn to go out to potty with a dedicated owner that is home most of the time to help her learn. Delilah would do best in a fairly active home, with someone home most of the time. She should have another dog or cat (that enjoys interacting with dogs) as a companion and would really love a home with children (that are careful of her size). Delilah is currently 5 pounds, and although she still has growing to do she will remain a small dog. Delilah is waiting for her forever home, will it be with you?

Delilah's adoption fee of $220.00 includes their microchip, alter and current DHPP and Rabies vaccine. A deposit of 50% or $100.00 will hold this puppy for you.
