My name is Thunder. My previous owner rescued my dad (he already found his forever home) from a breeding situation, but before she could get him altered he fell in love with my mom (her dog), and I was born! I’m 9 months, house trained, kennel trained, good with humans of all ages and other dogs. Classic chihuahua, I choose one person who I velcro to faithfully. I sleep best in your bed under the covers. I’m an excellent snuggler. I’m a little skittish and need the reassurance of a calm, assertive leader. I may pee a tad submissively, so it’s best to take me outside for our reunion greeting after you’ve been gone. I might get scared if you come directly at me, even if it’s for cuddles. But if you turn around and walk away, I will relax and follow you. You’ll know when you’ve earned my trust because I will aggressively mouth kiss you! I am a gentle boy, not destructive or yippy at all. I get scared when I see the halter coming, but once we’re out and about on the leash I do very well. The best way to start bonding with me is to carry me around in your sweater. That’s my happy place!
Thunder's adoption fee of $150.00 includes his microchip, neuter, DHPP series and Rabies vaccine. 

Not included in the adoption fee is county license or microchip registration.
