Bio for Aurora:

“My name is Aurora and I was found by a Good Samaritan along with my sister, Willa. That nice lady called our foster mom because she didn’t know how to care for us. You see, my sister was pretty sick and there wasn’t anything I could do to help her. We are lucky to have been found!

My sister and I are quite different, even though we are related. She’s a little um…impulsive, while I think of myself as much more steadfast. I am confident and curious and I know how to explore safely. I am very independent and not very demanding. Well, ok, I’m a little demanding. But ONLY when I’m hungry. And, actually, I DO like to be held and snuggled when I’m getting sleepy…so I guess I’m *mostly* independent. And, I should mention that I also like being groomed by the resident black cat who acts like a mommy cat, even though he’s a boy.

Speaking of grooming, I am super good at cleaning myself (well, at least when the mommy-boy cat isn’t doing it for me) and I absolutely LOVE having my photo taken! My foster mommy tells me I am one of the softest kittens she has ever touched and I simply can’t control that rumble that comes out of my chest every time she pets me. She also calls me her ‘Rainbow Girl’ because my soft fur has, like, ALL the colors in it.

In my foster home I have gotten to meet big humans and small humans, big dogs, and other cats. I like them all as far as I can tell. All the humans and animals here are very respectful of my feelings and my space, which is why I feel so comfortable around them.

I’m excited to learn more about the world and foster mom says it’s almost time for me to do that with my forever people. I can’t wait to meet them…I sure do hope they have a camera!”
