Salsa is an adult Chihuahua or Chihuahua/Dachshund mix, between 4 and 6 years of age. She's an easy keeper with a gentle, timid personality. Housetrained and crate-trained. She's great with all other dogs and cats. She's affectionate and LOVES food...her whole body wriggles with delight at the smell of something yummy. Salsa was rescued from PACC by In The Arms of Angels all-breed dog rescue just a day before going into labor. The poor girl had to have an emergency C-section and the puppies didn't survive. She's been through a lot, but has been very brave throughout it all. Salsa does need patience and someone who can help her learn just what humans are for -- fun walks, warm laps, and ear scratchin's!! She is not afraid of people and has never shown even the least bit of aggression, but does take a little while to warm up. Not suitable for a home with young children.
