Pig Pen Penny is a happy little girl who is chocked full of love! She is a great companion as she always wants to be with you and by your side. She is a big time snuggler and loves to shower you with puppy kisses. Miss Penny is a low energy dog that loves puppy naps but also enjoys some play time. She enjoys dog parks or playing with her foster siblings or even playing fetch with a tennis ball. She is also leash trained and walks very nicely on the leash. Barking is not a problem with Penny as she will lightly growl or snort if she hears something that if off as warning instead of barking. The nick-name Pig Pen came from the fact that she has a tendency to snort when she is excited and to lightly snore when she sleeps. Penny is also crate trained and behaves very nicely once she is in the crate. She is also housebroken, but may have a few pee accidents at first because nerves. This sweet girl has had a rough approximately 2.5 years of life. She has been in shelter and foster care for several months, gave birth to puppies who all died due to the stress of this life, and probably comes from an abusive owner as she is very submissive. Regardless of this background, she is still one of the most loving dogs in the whole world. She has a tendency to be shy at first but once she knows that you are a trustworthy person, she is glued to your side. She would do well in a home as an only dog or as an additional dog to any family. Penny also enjoys car rides and will jump up into a large SUV all on her own! She is very eager to please her owner and show her gratitude!

Penny's adoption fee of $125.00 includes spay, microchip and current DHPP and Rabies vaccinations.  An additional fee of $10.50 will be collected at time of adoption for license transfer..
