Charlie girl is a happy-go-lucky 6 month-old hound puppy mix. This classic puppy is full of energy and will test your patience in any way she can dream up. While she’s happy to run around with your shoe, stick her head in the trash, or try to dig her way into your lap, Charlie is often just looking to play or get love.
A very active pup, Charlie would do best in an active family home or in a family where she can have a playmate to get rid of some pent up energy. Great with kids Charlie just loves to be around anyone or anything that will play with her. Charlie has never had to live with cats but with the proper introductions and the understanding that the cat isn’t a chew toy, she could coexist peacefully with cats.
Still teething Charlie loves chewing on her favorite bone, but will still grab your shoe if she can get her paws on it, so she needs someone to watch her and show her what’s acceptable and what’s not.
Potty trained and crate trained Charlie enjoys spending quiet time in the crate while the humans are away but she loves running around the backyard with her sister Lilly(also AOA rescue), all her foster brothers, and the local kids.
While she can still be timid at times, Charlie’s bold and adventurous spirit means she is quick to discover and learn all about new things.
While in her foster home Charlie is working on bulking up so she can grow up big and strong. She’s also working on walking nicely on a leash and accepting that car rides mean she gets to go on a good and fun adventure.
