Diego is a brindle Chihuahua mixed puppy. He plays with two medium-sized dogs in his foster home, running along side them, and learning about what they do. He loves to run around with the big dogs, chase the ball but not return it, and roll around on the floor with them. He runs with a smile on his face and is one happy little guy. He likes stuffed toys, soccer balls (little ones), and small bones. He is happy playing by himself with a toy on his doggie bed. Diego wants to sit with you, hug you, and give you kisses. He wants to sit on your lap when you drive, but does well sitting in the passenger seat watching out the window.  He likes to lay with you at night, so if you’re okay with sharing your bed, he’ll curl up in a little ball and sleep throughout the night.

Diego is crate trained. He will cry for the first five minutes but is not destructive when you are out of the house. Sometimes he has a small bone when left in his crate. He will eat the bone while we are not home or keep it until we return. He is so happy to see you when you get back and will run around beside you for some hugs and kisses to let you know he missed you.

We do not know if he is friendly to cats as he has not been around them. He gets frightened by loud noises (ex: a loud motorcycle). He will run and hide and then come back out to see what it was.

Diego's adoption fee of $200.00 includes his microchip, neuter, DHPP series and Rabies vaccine.
