Miriam is a shy little girl, but a very insistent snuggler.  All she wants is a reasonably quiet, drama-free house where she can nap in the sun, bat and pounce some catnip mice and snuggle up next to her people for attention and love.  If you want a cat who will spend the night in bed next to you, Miri is your girl.

Miriam is done raising her family of four boisterous kittens, and is looking forward to time spent without their constant noise and energy.  She has been a very attentive and protective mother, but is now enjoying her time spent away from the kittens.  She loves human attention and will sit next to you and follow you around the room for pets and scritches.  She is much less fussy about petting since giving birth to her kittens.  Miriam is very slowly learning to be a lap cat.  She is a little nervous of people standing over her or picking her up, prefering to lie next to people, rather than on them, but she will purr up a storm once she's comfortable.  She enjoys the company of the resident adult cats in her foster home and should do well with other cats in the house.  She is tolerant of the 60lb dog, so long as he doesn't get in her face.  She will sleep right next to him so long as his back is turned.
