Mable is the sweetest little girl anyone could imagine, but she will need a lot of care and nurturing because she is very untrusting of people. She has only been in my foster home a short while and she takes quiet, slow handling for her to trust and bond. But she WILL trust and bond with time and love. Although she is scared she has never bitten anyone to the best of my knowledge and prefers to run and escape.

Mable is crate trained and a crate is highly recommended for her because it gives her a place to feel safe and secure when she gets stressed. 
She walks well on a leash but gets scared by lots of activity and loud noises and when that happens she needs firm handling and quiet reassurance. 
Mable LOVES to be a home body and has a low-medium energy level. A fenced yard and a quiet house suits her just fine. She is NOT an high energy dog that needs lots of exercise. 
Mable is house broken. She had one potty accident in my house when she first arrived and was so scared. She has not had one since then. 
She is gentle taking food and has learned the few things I have taught her quickly so she will be a quick learner with gentle, positive reinforcement training. 
She is good with other dogs tending to be submissive and deferring to them and she pays little attention to my cat. 
She appears to be afraid of children when I take her to the park but since she is fearful in general its hard to tell. I have not had her around children directly. She should only go to a household with children over 12 because of her fear issues and the need to be calm in handling her.

Mable's adoption fee of $150.00 includes microchip, spay UTD rabies and dhpp.
