Abby is a happy, goofy, loving girl with a smile across her face almost constantly. She is eager to please her peoples and learns new behaviors with enthusiasm. She is crate trained, and loves to have that personal space for herself when she wants to relax or feel safe. Abby is also a little shy with new people, but she is coming back around to trusting strangers with each new day in her foster home meeting new people and being given new experiences. She is timid when meeting new dogs, but warms up to them quickly. When she warms up to a new doggie friend she can play a little too enthusiastically and so she can easily overwhelm an insecure dog. If she is going to be with another dog introductions and evaluations are required. Abby currently lives with 5 other dogs and a cat so she is definitely capable of being social, but she is still learning some social etiquette that she missed out on somewhere along the way in her young life. Abby is also a bouncy, happy dog that doesn't quite realize she is 50 pounds of energy so she is learning to be calm and not jump on people when she gets excited. One of her favorite things is to go to a large area and run and run and run in circles. She is also going to make a wonderful ball player, when she learns to bring it back to her peoples. If you are looking for a fun loving, sweet, eager to please, active girl Abby is for YOU! Not to mention she is adorable with her lab looking face, her dark intelligent eyes, black nose, white coat with a brindle spot on her butt that never stops wiggling with joy. Abby's adoption fee of $125.00 includes her microchip, spay and current DHPP and Rabies vaccine. A $11.00 license transfer fee will also be collected at time of adoption.
